Activate the masses. Activate the collection.
We gave form to the mission of the African American Museum at the Smithsonian. We also created a strategy for social activation with building of a collection through inclusive participation. Taking cues from a novel by Toni Morrison, the Beloved Project became a concept for a worldwide virtual installation that would propagate content to the museum, it’s website, and a screen at the physical location.
